BRETFORTON BRANCH OF THE ROYAL BRITISH LEGION
The Bretforton Branch of the RBL was officially formed in February 1928 and committee members are eagerly looking forward to February 2028 where they plan to commemorate the centenary in style! The branch has its headquarters at the club and the committee meets regularly to discuss RBL matters and to deal with any requests for support from within the local ex-service community.
The RBL annual poppy appeal and the distribution of collection boxes, together with door to door selling of poppies within the locality, is another example of the sterling work which is carried out by the branch. Anyone who feels they might have some time available and wish to assist in any way will always receive an enthusiastic welcome!

FOR THE FALLEN
Poem by
Robert Laurence Binyon (1869-1943)
They shall grow not old,
as we that are left grow old,
age shall not weary them,
nor the years condemn,
at the going down of the sun,
and in the morning,
we will remember them.
LEST WE FORGET
